Plus and Minus points:
Plus Points:
- Hero Sushanth Singh Rajput is main positive sign for this movie.
- The performance of his is excellent.
- Sometimes you feel like Dhoni himself acted in his biopic.
- We can find Sushanth's seriousness towards acting in his imitation of Dhoni and the way he executed the cricketing shots.
- He acted very well in some of the emotional scenes.
- Next main plus point is Dhoni's family.
- Anupam Kher performed well as Dhoni's father and as a sister Bhoomika proved her talent.
- The VFX team gets the whole and sole credit with their work towards showing ground, cricket matches and Sushanth in a splendid way.
Minus Points:
- One of the biggest minus points if the makers didn't show the controversial issues faced by Dhoni at the time of becoming captain.
- As the first half of the movie shows us in depth about the troubles faced by Dhoni to become a cricketer, we are going to expect more from the makers. But they failed to show that. They have directly shown us the final of ICC World Cup 2011 and wrap off.
- The length of film is too long. We need to adjust ourselves to sit for three hours, five minutes.
